Shoreline Fog

...Shoreline Fog...
5" x 7" - oil on museum quality panel

Sometimes we have what the weatherman likes to call patchy fog. It really looks cool, especially when warmed by the sun. Here the tide was low in these salt marshes. I had a hard time trying to simplify all the detail. The old wooden pier is falling down, and is sort of a landmark in this area. I like painting it!
