6" x 8" - oil on canvasI love skies, especially at dawn and dusk. The crow was an excuse to do a sky painting, which I suppose is an insult to crows everywhere. The light changes so much at dusk that the part of the sky which appears to be blue is actually a yellow-gray. It just appears blue because it is cooler than the warm clouds.
I love this. the tree and crow silhouetted against the subtle colors of the sky. There is something about it that's very evocative.
